Of course, there are many chain eateries and fast food places in the Springs, but I always try to eat at original places, food establishments where the local residents go because there is something special about the food and the ambiance.
If you are vacationing with children, sometimes it is just easier to stop at the golden arches of McDonald's and get them a happy meal. That is fine, but while you are on vacation, try to go to at least a few original eateries and enjoy the local food. You will be glad you did. And sometimes the kids will be glad you did, too.
